will once again represent the entire supply chain this year for the 48th Cosmoprof Worldwide in Bologna.

The emphasis that Camera Italiana dell’Acconciatura places on the evolution of the supply chain and, in particular, the new generations, is tangible, with its own lounge in Pavilion 25 together with Cosmetica Italia, CNA Benessere e Sanità, Confartigianato Benessere and an exemplar for enhancing and sharing national and international initiatives and news with industry workers.

Confident after being a hit in past years, HairRing returns. At its fourth year, the Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna project, in association with Camera Italiana dell’Acconciatura and the media support of, is dedicated to up-and-coming hairdressers who will put on a show in an ad hoc area of Pavilion 25 (Booth C58-C64).

A major opportunity for personal and professional growth for hairdressing talents under 25 years of age, from the students of schools to employees to young entrepreneurs, who will be the stars of this area, where they will be able to express the excellence, values and love of their profession live through their interpretation of this year’s guiding theme: The elements: air, earth, fire, water.

Also new this year is HairRing Selected: Monday, March 23rd from 3:30 PM to 5 PM four outstanding hairdressers will get the chance to put on a show at the International Trend Forum – Expo Pavilion. For four hairdressers under 30 years of age, selected by a prestigious panel of judges, it will be a valuable opportunity to put on a show in front of visitors, companies and the press.

“Today’s young people will be the great creative minds of tomorrow” comments Luca Stella, president of Camera Italiana dell’Acconciatura, “Italy expresses fashion all around the world, even through hairdressing, and young people will carry on this torch of excellence. We must therefore fully exploit this potential and increase the visibility of up-and-coming talent, using a prestigious showcase like that of Cosmoprof”.

An important opportunity to meet and speak with the industry’s professionals on the most contemporary topics in our line of work will be offered by the conference New Scenarios for the Professional Hairstyling in Italy: Instructions for Use, scheduled on Monday March 23rd at 11 a.m. in the Sala Concerto (Service Centre). Besides the interventions by institutional entities, the conference will offer a panorama of CIA’s activities on the most important topics for the category, from renting the hairdressing chair, to training and professional refresher courses, to the fight against wrongful acts, and up through communication. Renowned industry workers attending will help explain the evolution of the category by telling stories and experiences about success. Hon. Flavio Zanonato, ex-Minister of Economic Development and member of the European Parliament, will give an account of his commitment to the category, as he has already done concretely just recently, fostering a solution to the instances brought up by CIA.
